Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Circulator (Contract) Job Type: Contract Urgency: Quick Start Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, day shift) with some shared on-call responsibilities Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate is skilled in coordinating surgical procedures, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures Ensure a safe and sterile operating room environment Coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgery Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation Minimum Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS certification Minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room experience Strong experience in OR circulating TB clearance completed within the last 12 months Ability to work scheduled shifts and participate in shared call rotation Additional Information Guaranteed 40 hours per week, except during major holiday weeks No holiday coverage required Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred Housing & Travel Candidates are encouraged to secure housing independently.
