Travel Nurse RN - OB/GYN - $2,146 per week

Uniti Med is seeking a travel nurse RN OB/GYN for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OB/GYN Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We are a LDRP Unit with a 3-bed triage space. Nurses function in all capacities- labor, delivery, recovery, post-partum, nursery, and NICU. We have 1- OR on the unit for C-Sections. We have a group of four midwives and four OB/GYNs. Pediatric Hospitalists staff the nursery and NICU. At times, when census is low, staff may be utilized in the Pediatric Department (would never be primary nurse) or out on Acute care as a rescue or constant observer. 12 LDRP Rooms; 3 triage beds; 16 Nursery Beds; 3 NICU beds Basic and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; NRP; BLS; STABLE (preferred not required). - We follow AWHONN Staffing Guidelines Required to go in on C-sections but only responsible for the baby. They will not scrub sections. Level 2 Nursery Description: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Adolescent and Adult Females, Neonates. Cerner EMR Experience Required. At Times of Low Census, Traveler may be placed on call.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
