Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nursery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Continuing care nursery - Special care nursery (SCN) experience required. NICU, and PP exp preferred MA license. 12H Night shift 7p-730a rotating weekends and holidays - NICU is level 3, Special care nursery is level 2 - Nursery is 6 beds, 2 nurses per 6 babies, no VENTS, only feeders and growers - Job Description: UNIT DESCRIPTION: The Birthplace is a 12-bed, private room, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit that includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists and registered nurses. The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area. Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles.
