Job Details Role: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU / Neonatal Intensive Care Assignment Type: Travel (13-week assignment) Location: On-site in Canton, GA (30115) — North Georgia / near Metro Atlanta Start Date: April 13, 2026 End Date: July 11, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500 - $1,580 per week Unit: Special Care Nursery (SCN) – Level III NICU Number of Positions: 1 Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of NICU or Special Care Nursery (SCN) experience — NICU RN experience preferred Registered Nurse (RN) license active and in good standing BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Must not be a local candidate within 50 miles of Canton, GA (travel nurse requirement) Responsibilities Deliver specialized nursing care to neonates with medical and surgical needs in a Level III NICU / Special Care Nursery Monitor and assess infants using advanced neonatal equipment including ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes Provide neonatal critical care, perform assessments, implement care plans, and respond to clinical changes Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Support admissions, discharges, and direct transfers from other hospitals as needed Maintain accurate documentation, follow unit policies, and uphold high standards of patient safety and infection control Why Join This Canton, GA NICU Travel Assignment?
