Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) ⏰ Shift Details Primary Shift: 3x12-Hour Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Alternate Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Rotating D/N shifts possible Facility will try to honor preferred shift but may rotate based on operational needs. Must work every other holiday . Experience Requirements ✅ 18 months PERM experience in the specialty (before any travel assignments). ✅ 18 months RECENT Med/Surg Tele experience (Travel experience counts toward this requirement.) ⭐ 1 year recent oncology/chemotherapy experience preferred , not required. Oncology nurses encouraged to apply. Training available for chemo administration if qualified. License & Certifications ✅ Ohio RN License (Permanent) OR Compact State License (in hand at submission) ✅ BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) ✅ ACLS ✅ NIHSS Certification Additional Requirements ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation (must pass). SafeMedicate assessment during orientation (must pass). Timekeeping system: Qualivis – Lotus Traveler must meet hospital operational needs if shift changes are required.
