Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK ON OUR TELEMETRY/MED SURG UNIT. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit. ACLS Required. Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime." Cerner EMR Experience Required. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
