Details Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of an academic hospital setting in Washington, DC Medical/surgical telemetry patient population 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 36 hours per week 13-week contract Cerner EMR experience required Requirements Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) Active RN license in good standing required; compact license not sufficient — DC licensure specifically required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience in a US hospital required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA-issued certifications only) CPI certification required for this position Cerner EMR experience required US Social Security Number required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, and documents findings in accordance with policy and procedures Delivers age-appropriate, competent care to patients across the life span Completes admission assessments within established timeframes per policy Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration American Traveler Job ID P-675422.
