Details 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center in Washington, DC Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit (dept 6207) Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) Cerner EMR experience required Requirements Active RN license for Washington, DC required — no pending licenses accepted Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and CPI Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a US hospital setting, with at least 2 years of MS/Tele specialty experience Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired Active US SSN required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Date of birth required for consideration Candidate must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify for travel placement Additional Information Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments including review of systems and admission assessments in accordance with policy and procedures Delivers age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care across the care continuum Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) only CPI certification is mandated for this position American Traveler Job ID P-681071.
