Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel JOB DESCRIPTION: Sheboygan - Med/Surg 2 About Facility: Sheboygan, WI 101 Beds Level IV Trauma Center Primary Stroke Center Unit Information: Beds: 24 Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Ortho – total hip and knee replacements, spinal surgeries General MedSurg – CHF, COPD, respiratory/kidney/liver/GI issues, etc. Patient Ratios: Days/Eves: 1:4-5 Nights: 1:5 Required License, National Certification, Certs: BLS; NIHSS preferred Skills required: PIV starts, wound care, dressing changes, wound vacs, drains, chest tubes, stable trach management, knowledge of patients on bipap/cpap Drips: insulin and heparin Support within the Department: CNA: 1:5-10 ratio depending on shift.
