This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage a dynamic patient load during night shifts. Assignment Details Start Date: April 6, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Location: Columbia, Missouri Facility Address: 1600 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201 EMR System: Meditech Positions Available: 1 Patient Population / Common Diagnoses Respiratory: COVID-19, Pneumonia Renal: End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) Endocrine: Diabetes Gastrointestinal: GI Bleed, Pancreatitis Neurological: Dementia, Altered Mental Status Infectious Diseases: MRSA, C. difficile Common Equipment & Technology IV Pumps Bladder Scanners Patient Lifts & Hospital Beds Oxygen Therapy Equipment CPAP/BiPAP Machines HEPA Filtration Units Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care in a Med-Surg environment Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Manage multiple patients efficiently in a fast-paced setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR Required Skills & Competencies IV insertion CPAP/BiPAP management Feeding tube care Wound VAC management Minimum Requirements Active RN license (state-specific compliance required) Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience BLS/BCLS certification (required) Willingness to float or adjust hours as needed KS About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
