Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,412 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2412.00 Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week • 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Every other weekend and every other holiday requirements • Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back pay • Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adult patients only • Care for patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases • Typical patient ratios: 1:6-7 on night shifts • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC) • Minimum 2 years experience required, Trauma Level II experience highly preferred • EPIC charting experience required • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility • Any color scrubs permitted • Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred • Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, and positive attitude • Clinical interview services required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services with specialized trauma capabilities.
