Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,412 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 7 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2412.00 Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • 36 guaranteed hours per week for 7 weeks • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Every other weekend and every other holiday required • Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back • Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility • 2 years of nursing experience required, trauma level II experience highly preferred • Wisconsin RN license required • Required certifications: BLS AHA or ARC • EPIC charting experience required • Work on Medical and Pediatrics unit (travelers do not take pediatric patients) • Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights • Treat adults with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and other medical conditions • Any color scrubs acceptable • Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred • Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, and positive attitude • Must be willing to collaborate with team members and ask questions when needed Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides trauma level II services and specialized medical care.
