Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position: Med-Surg RN Unit Details: Work between Adult Medical (3N) and Adult Surgical (2N) units Beds: 2N – 23 surgical beds | 3N – 19 adult beds 5 pediatric beds Ratio: 1:5 (with LPN/CNA support) Duties: Medication administration, vital signs, head-to-toe assessments, IVs, blood transfusions, POC testing, isolation care, telemetry monitoring. Equipment: Telemetry, Phillips vital monitors, Vein viewers, bladder scanner, Meditech EMR. Requirements: 2 years Med-Surg experience Peds experience required 6 months travel experience required IN RN License or Compact License BLS (AHA required) | ACLS preferred Must not be 1099 Schedule: 3×12 hr day shifts (30-min unpaid break) 34.5 hrs/week guaranteed 8 hrs non-billable orientation Floating: Between Adult Medical and Surgical units. Dress Code: Any color scrubs (no denim), closed-toe/heel shoes, neat appearance, earrings only, long hair tied back.
