Details Inpatient Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) Telemetry experience is a core component of this role Cerner EMR experience required Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses) Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and CPI (must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course) Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience in a US hospital, with Med/Surg Telemetry experience required Minimum 6 months of travel nurse experience required Cerner EMR experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired US Social Security Number required Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) only Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, completing admission assessments per policy, and delivering age-appropriate, patient-centered care Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to provide appropriate care for all patient populations Documents assessments, nursing needs, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policy and regulatory requirements American Traveler Job ID P-675521.
