This position provides nursing care on a Med-Surg Burn Center unit. Candidates must be proficient in Epic charting and have solid Med/Telemetry experience. Burn unit experience is a plus, but not required. Previous travel experience is also preferred. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients, including those on telemetry Administer medications and perform nursing assessments Respond to patient changes and emergencies appropriately Document care and patient status accurately in EpicCare Inpatient EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes Required Qualifications Active RN license 2 years of Med-Surg / Telemetry experience (burn experience a plus) Epic EMR proficiency required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) , BLS (AHA) , NIHSS – AHA or APEX Assignment Details Location: Jackson, MS Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week BSN: Not required Unit Notes: Med-Surg Burn Center; Epic charting proficiency required Interested?
