Job Details Location: Cumming, GA 30041 (North Georgia) Role: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Travel Nurse Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Start Date: April 13, 2026 End Date: July 11, 2026 Employment Type: Travel nursing / contract Estimated Weekly Salary: $1500-$1580/week Job Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care / Intermediate Care experience (Med/Surg RN experience required) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification NIH Stroke Certification Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry, and progressive care protocols preferred No local candidates within 50 miles (open to travel nurses) Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Med/Surg and progressive care nursing to PCU patients Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry and changes in acuity Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, pharmacists, therapists) to coordinate care Provide patient education and support to patients and families Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently Respond to emergencies and follow established PCU and hospital protocols This travel nursing job in Cumming, GA offers an opportunity to work nights in a modern facility while enjoying the lakes, parks, and community amenities of North Georgia.
