Job Details Location: Morgantown, WV (26505) — Morgantown nursing jobs / West Virginia nursing jobs Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) — LTAC nursing, acute care Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN) Duration: 13 weeks (13-week travel assignment) Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week) Start Date: ASAP Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2010 per week Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience in acute care, LTAC, or similar settings Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific licensure as required) BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Experience in LTAC, ventilator care, or complex medical-surgical populations preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care following individualized nursing care plans and LTAC protocols Perform timely nursing assessments (within 8 hours of patient admission) and ongoing clinical reassessments Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and coordinate with physicians, charge nurses, therapists, and case managers Develop and implement patient teaching, discharge planning, and rehabilitation goals to support transitions of care Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control practices, and quality standards Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation and support unit team building Pursue professional growth through continuing education, training, and competency development Why Morgantown?
