Job Details Location: Macon, Georgia (31217) — Georgia nursing jobs / Macon healthcare Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN) Start Date: April 6, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shifts, 12 hours (3 shifts per week; 36 hours/week) Number of Openings: 6 travel RN positions Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,740 - $1,830/week Travel RN Requirements / Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired) Experience in LTAC, long-term acute care, or similar acute care settings preferred Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills for multidisciplinary care Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner Initiate and coordinate discharge planning and patient teaching beginning at admission Communicate clinical changes in patient status to the care team to maintain continuity and safety Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees Promote a safe work environment by following hospital safety policies and best practices Participate in team-building activities and contribute positively to unit operations Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC nursing Join our healthcare team in Macon, Georgia — Apply now for this Travel RN / LTAC nursing job to advance your career in long-term acute care.
