Job Details Location: Honolulu, HI 96819 — Honolulu nursing jobs / Hawaii travel nurse assignment Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing, Travel RN) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (02/16/2026 – 05/16/2026) Shift: 12-hour nights (07:15 PM – 07:45 AM) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Division: Nursing – Labor & Delivery (Critical Need) Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800–$1890/week Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D nurse / perinatal nurse) Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii (or valid RN license in the state where care is provided) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Preferred Qualifications BSN or Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field Five (5) years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (within last 2 years) At least one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years Experience in High Risk OB, perinatal nursing, or tertiary care L&D units Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery unit as a Labor & Delivery RN / L&D nurse Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods (fetal heart rate monitoring and maternal assessments) Assist with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, collaborating with OB/GYNs, midwives, neonatology, and the interdisciplinary care team Administer medications, assist with interventions, and support labor management protocols Provide education to patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards in the medical record Enjoy island living while advancing your travel nursing career — Honolulu offers urban conveniences and outdoor recreation.
