Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $1,584 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at a 332-bed teaching, short-term acute care hospital . The RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate will have strong labor and delivery experience, fetal monitoring skills, and newborn transition care experience . Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery during labor, delivery, and recovery. Perform fetal heart monitoring and maternal assessments throughout labor. Assist physicians and the care team during deliveries and obstetric procedures . Provide newborn transition care and nursery support after delivery. Support patients during the postpartum and mother-baby recovery period . Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and recovery . Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system . Float between facilities within the health system when required. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required . Experience with fetal heart monitoring required. Experience in obstetrics, postpartum/mother-baby care, and newborn nursery transition preferred. First-time travelers accepted.
