License: Illinois (IL) RN license in hand required. Experience: EPIC experience – Required Travel experience – Preferred Minimum 1 year RN experience First-time travelers accepted ICU experience – Plus ACLS, BLS Certification Shift Notes 5p-530a Unit Details Department: IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) Beds: 22 private beds Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Days: 1:5 Nights: 1:5 Certifications Required BLS ACLS Common Diagnoses / Patient Types Cardiac patients Open heart (post-op day 3) Craniotomy patients Cardiac cath (radial & femoral) Watchman procedure Zephyr valve (COPD) Pacemakers Tracheostomy patients Continuous CPAP/BiPAP Chest tubes CBI (Continuous Bladder Irrigation) ⚠️ No ventilators on this unit. Drips / Medication Management RNs are required to titrate drips.
