Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 8 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights, flexible Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Critical Care RN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Location: Rockford, IL (Candidates must live more than 50 miles from facility) Schedule: 12-hour nights, every other weekend and every other holiday Assignment Type: Travel / Short-term assignment Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to care for CCU patients at a mid-to-large hospital in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate has prior experience in coronary care, thrives in high-acuity environments, and demonstrates strong clinical skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care for CCU patients following hospital protocols. Monitor cardiac patients and respond to acute changes in condition. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to patient safety standards. Requirements: Experience caring for CCU or coronary care patients (must be shown on resume). Minimum experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
