Job Details Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (Boston area / Massachusetts nursing jobs) Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing) Unit: Nursing Float Pool (ICU and PCU) – Critical Care RN role Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 8 weeks (March 23, 2026 – May 16, 2026) Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470–$2600/week Job Requirements Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required Current Massachusetts RN license required (MA RN) BLS and ACLS certifications required 2–5 years of recent ICU / critical care RN experience required Experience in a Trauma Level I facility preferred (Trauma Level II considered) EPIC EMR experience required (electronic medical record, documentation) Previous travel nursing experience preferred Telemetry competency required; must pass a Telemetry test on the first day (pass/fail) Must not have worked at BILH facilities (perm, per diem, travel) within the last 6 months Facility is not accepting local candidates — open to travel nurses only Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients on ICU and PCU as part of the float pool (critical care nursing duties) Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and respond rapidly to clinical deterioration Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support as appropriate for ICU level care Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate, timely documentation and communication (clinical documentation, charting) Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and effectively communicate with physicians, staff, and families Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and patient safety standards Experience the best of Massachusetts while advancing your nursing career in a supportive, innovative Trauma Level I environment.
