A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work rotating shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed • 16-week contract duration starting 03/16 • Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units based on facility needs • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred • Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required • Required certifications: BLS/HCP, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS • CPI (or equivalent) preferred • Specialty certification highly desired (CCRN) • Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation • Minimum 2 years of full-time staff ICU RN experience prior to travel assignments • Pediatric experience preferred • EPIC EMR experience required • All licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout contract duration • Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date • No requested time off permitted during initial contract period Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the Big Island community, featuring a modern ICU unit equipped with advanced technology and monitoring systems.
