A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Inpatient Job Details: • Work night shift with (4) 10-hour shifts per week • Must be available to work various days of the week • On call responsibilities as needed • Minimum every other weekend required • Minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays required • Must have intraoperative experience or OR circulating experience • Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside shift reports • Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education • Serve as preceptor/mentor for other professional nurses and staff • Participate in evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement activities • Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification • Associates or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's preferred • Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school • Direct patient care experience preferred • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
