The hospital's strict start date and variable shift requirements reflect its role as the only acute care provider for a vast, rural region. ✨ Financial Breakdown (Weekly) Taxable Pay: $360.00 Non-Taxable Stipends: $2,500.00 Total Gross Weekly: $2,860.00 ✨ Assignment Overview Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: ASAP (Must start at 7 AM on a Monday, no exceptions) Shift: Variable/Rotational (80 hours per pay period). Shifts can be AM (0700-1900), PM (1900-0700), or 8-hour D, E, or N shifts. Floating: Mandatory floating to Long Term Care (LTC) or ICU departments as needed. Location: Waimea (Kamuela), HI (Big Island) Role Highlights Critical Access Trauma: As a rural hospital, you will see everything from local ranch injuries to high-acuity medical emergencies and tourist-related trauma. High Autonomy: You must be able to work independently, often with limited immediate specialty backup compared to urban Honolulu hospitals.
