Job Details Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment / Travel RN / ER Nurse Location: North Adams, MA 01247 (Berkshires, Berkshire County) — Massachusetts travel nursing jobs Assignment Type: On-Site, Travel Contract Start Date: April 13, 2026 End Date: July 13, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM or 3:00 PM–3:30 AM; must be available for either shift as needed) Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090–$2,200 (competitive pay for travel nurse / travel RN) Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color) Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable) On-Call: None Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (required) — ER nurse, emergency department experience preferred Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile) Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) (required for submission) Certifications (all must be active and uploaded at submission): BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) TNCC Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly required) Meditech Expanse EMR experience (strongly preferred) — EMR / documentation skills Must have a reliable personal vehicle for the assignment (local travel requirement) Must provide at least two specific interview date/time options with submission ("anytime" not accepted) Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission (no more than 5 days RTO accepted; requests after upload will not be approved) Permanent address must be included in profile (travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered) Recent Emergency Room and Supervisory Skills Checklists (within 1 year) required Responsibilities / Emergency Department Duties Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department — ER nurse responsibilities and acute care nursing Perform rapid triage, assessment, and interventions for patients with acute and emergent conditions Initiate and manage emergency protocols (e.g., chest pain, stroke, trauma, sepsis) and participate in resuscitations Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and monitor for changes in patient condition Interpret cardiac rhythms and apply Basic Dysrhythmia skills Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR (Meditech Expanse experience preferred) Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and patient advocacy during night shift operations Why apply?
