Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2268.00 Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts • Guaranteed 36 hours per week • Rotating weekends and holidays, usually every 3rd • May be required to float to Med/Surg unit • Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back • Patient ratio of 1:3 • Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required • Current Michigan RN license required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS • Experience with Epic EMR, Pyxis medication management system, GE bedside cardiac monitors & telemetry, Alaris Infusion systems preferred • Uniform/scrubs as described by department policy required - must be neat, clean, well-fitting, wrinkle-free and conservative • Must wear identification tags indicating position • During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times • Skills required include aseptic practice, patient monitoring (EKG, invasive pressure, B/P, SaO2), post-anesthesia care, drug dose calculations, tube management, mechanical ventilation care, and conscious sedation competency • Utilize critical thinking skills and integrated knowledge base for patient care delivery • Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census • Associate Degree or Certificate required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 6-bed emergency department with an average daily census of 20 patients.
