Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Internal Job Description Radius Rule: Contractors must live outside a 50 mile radius from facility. - expires 3/27 Contract Length: 13weeks Start Date: ASAP Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours Shift Requirements: 12hr variables - start times 7A-7P; 7P-7A; 8A-8P; 9A-9P; 10A-10P Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend. Every other Holiday, as applicable. Float Requirements: possible float to MS. Must be willing to float to Aspirus Merrill, Medford, Wausau, and Stanley On Call/Call Back Requirements: Travelers can be placed on call during low census hours in which they will get on call pay. Required Certifications: WI RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications) Minimum Experience: 2 years ED experience is required Charting Experience: Epic required Unit Overview: Acute stroke ready hospital, trauma level 14, Budgeted 28 visits to ED per day varies. Busier in summer, but again - varies Scrubs : any color We provide scrubs, however they can wear their own if they choose. Any color. GSA not applicable during orientation week Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours Travelers can be put on call for low census hours. The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours. If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay. Call back minimum is 2 hours. During Flu Season any traveler that declines to be flu and covid vaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times. There is no exception to this Aspirus policy. Failure to adhere to the policy will result in corrective action.
