Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel ER RN Start: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 5p-5a AUTO OFFERS ONLY - NO INTERVIEWS 2 years experience required plus at least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully ACLS, BLS, PALS, ESI level 5 training required TNCC preferred Cerner experience preferred The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care General Comments 48hr weekly guarantees are NOT available Blocked scheduling: Will do our best to make days as close/block as possible while meeting weekend requirements. Schedule is complete through 5/16 so will need to cover openings & can not guarantee Beds in unit: 29 plus 8 hallways Patient ratios: 1:4 Scrub color = Navy EMR = Cerner RTO blackout dates or required holidays: one major and one minor holiday possible Max RTO: None as long as FTE and weekend requirements are met Scope of role: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, Implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
