Job Details Location: Kremmling, CO (may also cover Granby and Fraser as needed) — rural Colorado / Rocky Mountains Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,030 per week Shift: Nights – 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, plus 2 on-call shifts (night shift travel nurse role) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts); some weeks may guarantee 32 hours depending on census and scheduling needs—please inquire for details Employment Type: Travel Contract, Travel Nurse / Travel RN position Setting: Critical Access Hospital, Emergency Department (Trauma Level IV) — Emergency Department nurse, ER RN, trauma and acute care Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience (Critical Access Hospital experience preferred) Active RN license in Colorado or compact state (compact license accepted) Current certifications: ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, ATLS, and CEN BLS (AHA) preferred Ability to work night shifts, holidays, and on-call as required Strong assessment, triage, planning, and coordination skills for patient care from admission to discharge Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in the Emergency Department, covering multiple sites (Kremmling, Granby, Fraser) as needed Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making in a Level IV Trauma setting Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care using accepted standards, clinical pathways, and evidence-based protocols Respond to trauma and emergency situations, stabilize patients, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Administer medications, start IVs, wound care, and other acute care procedures within scope of practice Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR, adhere to hospital policies, and ensure continuity of care from admission to discharge Support a rural healthcare environment and contribute to patient education, family communication, and community-focused care Why apply?
