Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/07/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Shift: Day 8 weeks : 3x12s : 7a-7p Unit Description: ED Main:-Specializing in adult cardiac care and complex internal medicine, Christ Hospital's 33-bed emergency department includes some of the most experienced and trusted emergency care specialists in the area, including: board-certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, nurses, physician assistants and social workers. -The department has a high acuity patient population and an all-RN nursing staff. -It's a fast-paced environment and requires excellent critical thinking skills. Required Skills & Experience:-The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education.-The RN effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication and maintains absolute confidentiality.-The RN maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.-The RN demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting. Required Education:-Diploma of Nursing. Preferred Education:-BSN. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Ohio RN License or Compact.-BLS (American Heart Assoc.) -ACLS (American Heart Assoc.) -PALS (American Heart Assoc.)
