Travel Nurse RN - Dialysis - $2,110 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Dialysis Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Dialysis Chronic Care Registered Nurse (RN) Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 36 hours/week (Must be flexible to work for atleast 40 hours/week) Experience Required: 12 months recent dialysis experience Floating: Required within 50 miles Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis assessments Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis treatments Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans as appropriate Administer medications per physician orders and approved clinical protocols Educate patients and families on dialysis care, treatment plans, and lifestyle considerations Collaborate with nephrologists, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members Delegate tasks appropriately to Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), LPNs/LVNs, and nursing staff Respond to emergency situations when required Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Ensure proper laboratory collection, processing, and follow-up Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active RN license in the state of practice Current CPR / BLS certification At least 1 year of nephrology nursing experience within the past 2 years Chronic hemodialysis experience required Ability to meet all state nursing practice requirements Guaranteed Hours & Eligibility (Required) There is a minimum guarantee of 36 hours per week Please note: You are NOT eligible for guaranteed hours if any of the following occur: Schedule requests or restrictions Refusal to float to required sites Late arrival to a scheduled shift Leaving a shift early Calling out of a scheduled shift Planned or unplanned time off Physical & Work Environment Hands-on patient care requires standing, bending, lifting, and assisting with patient mobility Occasional movement of dialysis equipment (with assistance) Healthcare setting with moderate noise levels Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious materials Occasional travel to training or alternate sites may be required Candidates are required to complete an Ishihara Color Vision Test .
