Job Details Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (Charleston, South Carolina travel nurse job) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment / 13-week contract) Start Date: March 23, 2026 Shifts: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) Hours per Week: 36 On-Call: 1 weekend (24-hour) call per month Holiday Coverage: Possible Charting / EMR: EPIC (EPIC charting experience preferred) Parking: Free and convenient options available Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,130–$2,250 per week Qualifications / Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience as a circulator and/or scrub in the cardiovascular operating room Able to circulate all services including CT, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Colorectal, Robotics, Bariatric Experience scrubbing Cardiac and Vascular cases highly preferred (cardiac/vascular scrub experience) Active South Carolina RN license (or proof of application / walk-through eligibility) BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Radiation badge provided by agency Experience in community hospital and Level I Trauma Center settings preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Previous travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Responsibilities Circulate and assist in a variety of complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and general surgical procedures Scrub or circulate for cases involving cardiac, vascular, robotics, and surgical oncology as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response Maintain patient safety and high standards of care in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating room environment Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely documentation and handoffs Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend/holiday coverage as needed Adhere to hospital protocols, including emergency response procedures during hurricane season (June–November) Complete required orientation and training modules prior to start Why Charleston?
