Job Details Position: Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse / Interventional Cardiology Nurse Location: Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod) — ZIP 02601 — Massachusetts travel nursing job Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026) Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10-hour shifts; rotating days/evenings (7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p, 9a-7:30p); rotating weekends & holidays On-Call: Required for nights, weekends, and holidays in rotation Employment Type: Travel RN (travel nursing assignment, cardiac nursing job) Estimated Weekly Pay: $3120 - $3290 per week Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab or acute cardiac nursing experience (cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Completion of Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) course Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams prior to start date Proficiency in IV administration, telemetry monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Use of lead apron required; on-call participation required Preferred Qualifications BSN preferred Recent cardiovascular interventional nursing experience CCRN or CRN certification preferred Key Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the cardiac cath lab and related units Assist with and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures Administer and monitor patient responses to medications, including peri-procedural drugs Perform telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and hemodynamic assessment Maintain accurate, current patient records and document assessments throughout admission Initiate and communicate plan of care to allied patient care providers and interdisciplinary teams Act as a resource for staff education, orientation, and unit-based teaching; demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse duties Use computerized nursing informatics for charting and quality documentation Follow safety protocols, blood/body fluid policies, and hospital procedures; maintain patient confidentiality Participate in unit staff meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development Consistently provide service excellence to patients, families, visitors, and co-workers Why Join This Travel Nursing Assignment Work in a dynamic cardiac/cath lab environment focused on interventional cardiology and patient-centered care Experience Cape Cod living — beaches, outdoor activities, and vibrant local culture in Hyannis Competitive travel nurse opportunities with standard travel nursing benefits (pay, housing stipend options, travel reimbursement and licensing support vary by agency) Ready to apply?
