Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel JOB DESCRIPTION RN - Cath Lab ● About Facility: · 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157 · 885 licensed beds · Level 1 Trauma Designation · Teaching Hospital: Yes, Academic Medical Center · Chest Pain Center · Stroke Center ● Department Information: · 5 OR's · Census? Average patients/day? 20-25 pts per day · Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year required; 2 years preferred · Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, but not preferred. ● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: · Cardiac Caths, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, Clips, Peds (as young as days old – PFO etc.) and others ● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: · RN: BLS, ACLS · Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ARRT-R or RCIS ● Skills required: · RN: Sedation; Nurses will circulate, and monitor. RN is responsible for medication administration. ▪ If RN is trained and proficient to scrub cases, that is a bonus but not required at this time. · Cardiac Cath Tech: do not give medications but will scrub, circulate and monitor ● Support within the Department: · Assistant Clinical Manager (RN) · Physicians – 10 · RRT · RT · Anesthesia/CRNA team ● Technology/Equipment: · EMR: EPIC, Cupid, Sensis · Department specific Equipment: All Siemens x-ray systems ● Floating: If yes, where? · None ● Orientation (facility and unit): · Standard Med Center Orientation · 2 weeks or less orientation in the CCL to the lab and surroundings ● Other notes: · Scrub Color: Provided · Parking: Free?
