Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/31/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Pre/Post Recovery RN – Job Breakdown Location: Washington (WA) EMR: Epic Unit Overview Total Bays: Unit 1: 23 Bays (16 beds 7 recovery lounge chairs) Unit 2: 22 Bays (16 beds 6 recovery lounge chairs) Average Cases Per Day: ~ 30 Daily Staffing: 16 RNs across multiple shifts Charge Nurse: 1 Lead RN ‍⚕️ RN Role Work in Cath Lab Pre/Post Recovery Unit Must have admit & recovery experience Common patient procedures: Left & Right Heart Cath Complex PCI Electrophysiology procedures Interventional Radiology Peripheral Vascular procedures (including AAA hybrid cases) Required Certifications BLS ACLS NIHSS WA State RN License or Compact RN License ⏰ Shifts Recovery unit open Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 9:30 PM Common shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (Shifts can be negotiable) Call Requirement 4–7 call days per month (sign-up based) Call timing: Weekday: 9:30 PM – 5:00 AM Weekend Day: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM Weekend Night: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM Response Time: Required: 60 minutes Preferred: 30 minutes Holidays: Only on-call , otherwise off About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
