Travel Nurse RN - Behavioral Health - $1,764 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Behavioral Health for a travel nursing job in Edmond, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Behavioral Health Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The RN will assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients. Monitor patient condition and document responses to treatments and nursing interventions . Assist physicians during patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments . Obtain and monitor physiological data and vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition. Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed. Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and hospital procedures . Coordinate patient care and make referrals to appropriate healthcare professionals when needed. Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff . Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies. Required Skills Knowledge of professional nursing practices, procedures, and patient care techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate nursing care Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Basic computer and documentation skills Ability to respond to diverse cultural and language needs of patients Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Experience Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Licensure & Certifications Active RN License – Oklahoma State Board of Nursing OR Multistate Compact RN License (eNLC) BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification – Required About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
