Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 4x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation schedule (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) • 13-week contract assignment • Every other weekend coverage required • Floating to other units is required • Must maintain 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Med Surg patients • Work in high volume unit with 26 beds caring for CHF patients, acute MIs, post device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias • Also care for general surgery patients including colon rectal, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic center patients, breast procedures and reconstruction surgeries on 51-bed unit • Must have NY license in hand - no exceptions • Minimum 1 year of experience required • EPIC charting experience is required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Must be skilled in MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, blood product administration, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, wound care/wound vac • Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white • Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted) • First time travelers accepted • Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours) Facility: This tertiary care hospital operates as a comprehensive medical center with 528 total staffed beds, providing advanced healthcare services to the community.
