Details Short-term acute care hospital setting with 733 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating within the hospital or to a sister campus may be required based on facility needs Charting performed in Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NC or compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position Scrub color required: royal blue and white Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours) RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per contract Only one holiday off may be approved per contract Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning Night shift travelers may extend up to two times before being required to be away for at least 6 months prior to returning 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-684697.
