Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Patient ratio of 1:5 • Every other weekend requirement • On-call rarely required, if needed for first 4 hours only • May need to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units • 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required • South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Preferred certifications: NIHSS • Epic charting system experience required • Must wear royal blue scrubs • Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients • Skills include management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, cardiac care procedures, wound care, IV management, and various specialized procedures • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams • Average 4 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start Facility: This acute care hospital features 304 staffed beds and utilizes Epic charting system. The facility provides comprehensive medical services with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The medical surgical telemetry unit maintains a 10-bed capacity with daily census of 10 patients, offering specialized cardiac and telemetry monitoring services.
