A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Patient ratio of 1:5 • Every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs • 2 years of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Experience required in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, and Telemetry monitoring on the unit • Community hospital experience preferred • Epic charting system experience preferred • Royal blue scrubs required • 24 hours of orientation • Care for adult and geriatric patients with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias • 30-room, 30-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Must be aware of potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June-November) • Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only Facility: This acute care hospital features 286 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community.
