Details Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within an acute care hospital Assignment is for night shifts, working 3x12s from 6:45pm to 7:15am Patient ratio is typically 1:5 Weekend shifts required every other weekend Floating within scope may be required Epic EMR is used; prior experience preferred Royal blue scrubs required Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required prior to start Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele experience required Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and provide telemetry care required Experience in community hospital settings preferred SSN and driver’s license required for consideration Previous permanent staff and PRN must be separated for 1 year before returning as a traveler Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position All anticipated time off (RTO) must be requested upon application; approval is based on facility needs Candidates living within 60 miles are considered local and may be subject to a local pay rate Holiday coverage may be required as needed Modules must be completed prior to start and average 4 hours During hurricane season (June-November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams Free parking is available American Traveler Job ID P-667043.
