A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 13-week contract assignment • Every other weekend requirement • Must maintain patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients • Floating to other units required • Must have 1 year of nursing experience • New York license required in hand - no exceptions • Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted) • Epic charting experience is a hard requirement • Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS • Scrub color requirements: any combination of navy and white • Skills include cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, respiratory support including nasal cannula and oxygen administration, and isolation precautions • Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours, may total 10 hours) • Must have no more than 10 days of requested time off during contract • First-time travelers accepted Facility: This tertiary care hospital is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 528 total staffed beds, providing advanced medical services and specialized care to the community.
