Details Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, designated as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Floating within the hospital or to a sister campus may be required based on unit needs No on-call requirements Charting via Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required Epic EMR proficiency required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position Royal blue and white scrubs required Pre-orientation modules must be completed prior to start (estimated 4–10 hours) RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per contract Only one holiday off can be approved per contract Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months prior to returning American Traveler Job ID P-685305.
