Details Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry Cardiac Unit Patient population focuses on cardiac cases requiring telemetry monitoring Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7 Cardiac drip experience required, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone administration Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12s) Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week Block scheduling is permitted Every other weekend (EOW) is required 13-week contract Requirements Active AL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand and in good standing Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required ACLS preferred Cardiac drip experience required (Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone) Two professional references required for consideration Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration COVID vaccination required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is on file Flu vaccination required unless a documented religious or medical exemption is on file Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position — local travelers will not be considered Compliance documentation must be submitted no later than one week prior to the start date Orientation is 16 hours American Traveler Job ID P-683596.
