Schedule 3x12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg RN with experience in Orthopedic and Joint care for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical-surgical nursing skills and be comfortable managing patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires flexibility, including floating to other areas within the specialty and sister facilities as needed. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatric patients. Manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care. Participate in floating to different units as necessary. Adhere to facility policies and protocols, including PPE and isolation requirements. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in Med/Surg, with Ortho/Joint experience preferred. Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License. BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Comfortable with procedures like blood product administration, hemodialysis management, and tracheostomy care. Benefits Flu Vaccine Required (no exemptions). Orientation: 24 hours provided.
