Details 38-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit in a hospital setting Telemetry unit with remote monitoring capabilities No drip titrations performed on this unit Lab team handles blood specimen collection; IV team available for additional support, though RNs are expected to start IVs No EKG performance or sheath discontinuation required Charting via Cerner OneChart; experience is preferred Night shift: 19:00–07:30 Every other weekend requirement 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state currently in hand Current BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Medical/Surgical and/or cardiovascular unit experience preferred Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and maintain a US home address Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to cardiovascular medical/surgical patients in a telemetry environment Ceil blue scrubs required Local candidates are welcome to apply; note that a radius rule applies which may affect travel pay eligibility — contact your recruiter for details COVID vaccination is not required by this facility American Traveler Job ID P-683324.
