Details Work in a 30-bed observation and medical-surgical unit with telemetry capability Care for a diverse patient population of all ages Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5-6 Supported by patient care techs and a unit secretary Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor techs for telemetry patients Level I trauma center environment 12-hour night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 Requirements Active OK or compact RN license required AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience Primary source license verification and Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start Must provide US Social Security Number and a US home address Must submit two professional references and a copy of driver's license for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include direct patient care, monitoring and communicating patient condition, and coordinating care among disciplines Supports patient discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary team Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and work effectively under stress Personal protective equipment must be used according to standard precautions First time travelers will be considered Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule American Traveler Job ID P-672915.
