Details Medical Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting Patient population includes stroke and post-surgical patients Telemetry central monitoring is available 24/7 — nurse is not required to independently interpret dysrhythmias Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00 Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week Floating required Weekend shifts required as needed Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Active NM or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler No travel pairs or groups will be accepted Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation Scrubs must be any solid color with no logos American Traveler Job ID P-684101.
